Dear all,
I am stuck with a problem where I must show that the lowest critical load converges to a certain value if the number of elements increases(see figure) I can assume a certain set of numerical values for the beam properties.

For 2 elements(1rotational spring) I have calculated(with the potential energy equation) that the lowest critical load is 2k/L and for 3 elements(2 rotational springs) the minimum critical load is k/L. However I cannot do the calculations for more elements because the degree of freedom increases. How can I tackle this problem??
