Hello. When you flip a switch and pass a current through a solenoid, the changing magnetic field creates an electric field in the center. If that medium breaks down (an inductively coupled plasma), does the inductance of the coil suddenly fall? I'm trying to look at it from the external circuit's point of view.
Also, I've read a couple texts on plasma discharges and ICPs are only ever briefly mentioned. Does anyone know of a good text/reference for ICPs?
Thanks.
